Plain-English summary
By using Claude Cohort or buying the Toolkit, you agree to the terms below. The course is free. The Toolkit is a $39 one-time purchase, refundable for 30 days, usable on up to 10machines. Don’t share your license key. Don’t reverse-engineer the install verifier. Everything is provided as-is. Our liability is capped at what you paid us.
1. What we offer
- The course — a free 10-chapter web course about using Claude Code. No login or payment required. Public and SEO-indexable on purpose.
- The Toolkit — a $39 one-time bundle: skills, slash commands, hook recipes, CLAUDE.md templates, and an
npxinstaller CLI that wires them into your repo. One purchase, no subscription, no auto-renewal.
2. Toolkit license
- One license per purchase. Use on up to 10machines. Reinstalls on the same machine don’t count toward the cap. Need more? Email amro@amrofilms.shop and we’ll raise it.
- For your own use.Personal projects, projects you own, or projects you’re paid to work on. Do not redistribute the Toolkit files, resell them, or commit them to a public repository.
- Not transferable. A license belongs to the email it was issued to.
- Lost the key?Reply to any email we sent you with your Stripe receipt and we’ll resend. We don’t require accounts or passwords.
3. Refunds
- 30 days, no questions. Email amro@amrofilms.shop with your Stripe receipt and we’ll process it.
- Refund revokes your license. Once a refund processes, your license key is marked revoked (usually within minutes via webhook), and
npx claude-cohort installwill fail with a clear error message. The trade is intentional: friendly refunds, the key stops working. - Refunds outside the 30-day window are at our discretion. We’re usually reasonable about edge cases (medical, family emergency, etc.) — just write in.
- Chargebacks. If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first, your license is revoked and we will provide the dispute response. We’d much rather you email us — see the 30-day clause above.
- UK / EU consumers — immediate digital delivery. The Toolkit is a digital product delivered immediately on purchase. By completing checkout you ask us to begin supply right away and you acknowledge that doing so means you lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 / EU Consumer Rights Directive. Our voluntary 30-day refund window above is more generous and is what you should use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass license verification.
- Share your license key publicly or distribute it to people outside your organization.
- Use the Toolkit or course content to build products that are illegal, that harass or harm people, or that violate Anthropic’s usage policies for the underlying Claude API.
- Scrape, mirror, or republish the course content as a paid product. (Personal notes, quoting, and linking are fine — that’s the whole point of a public course.)
5. Course content
The course is a teaching resource, not professional advice. Code examples are illustrative; always test in your own environment before shipping to production. You are responsible for the apps you build with what you learn here.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The course and the Toolkit are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties — including any implied terms of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the materials are error-free, fit for any specific stack or version, or that the linked third-party services (Vercel, Supabase, Anthropic, Stripe, etc.) will remain available or behave the same as when the course was written.
UK consumers: nothing in these terms removes or limits the statutory rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including the right to digital content of satisfactory quality and fit for its described purpose. If digital content we supply is faulty, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under that Act.
7. Limitation of liability
Subject to the next paragraph, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the course or the Toolkit is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim ($39 maximum for the Toolkit; £0 for the free course). We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss — including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill — even if we’ve been advised of the possibility.
What we don’t exclude:nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or (c) any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Termination
We may suspend or revoke your license without refund if you breach these terms — for example, sharing your key at scale, attempting to bypass install verification, or initiating a chargeback in bad faith. We may also discontinue the course or the Toolkit at any time; if we do, we’ll honor active license keys for at least 12 months from the discontinuation announcement.
9. Privacy
How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy. That document is part of these terms by reference.
10. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of them or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute, except that consumers resident in another part of the UK or the EU may also bring proceedings in the courts of their home country, as required by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. If you don’t agree to a change, stop using the course and Toolkit. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
